Gardaí attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the N3 near Behey, Co Cavan yesterday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:35pm. The driver, a male in his 20s, is believed to have lost control of his vehicle and collided with a telephone pole.
He was taken to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of injuries, not believed to be serious. Wire from the telephone pole caused minor damage to two other vehicles. There were no other injuries reported and investigations are ongoing.
