A man is due court later this morning in relation to a burglary at a house in the Carrickfern area of Cavan Town.
The man in his 40s was arrested yesterday and charged at Cavan Garda Station last night.
The break-in occurred at a house in in the early hours of Saturday morning the 1st July.

During the robbery a quantity of jewellry and a sum of cash was taken. A silver Toyota Yaris with a 10 CN registration was also taken from the scene.
The man detained by Cavan Gardaí has been charged with a number of offences ranging from public order, criminal damage and theft.
He’ll appear at a court sitting in the region later this morning.
