A man has been arrested in Co Monaghan for drug-related offences. Gardaí working in the Divisional Drugs Unit in Cavan/Monaghan recently spotted a young man acting in a "suspicious" manner at a filling station in Monaghan Town.
When searched, they discovered a number of deals of cannabis on the male which were intended for sale and supply. According to local Gardaí the defendant was arrested.
He was later released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
