A Meath based Senator originally from Cavan has ruled out a Presidential Election bid.
Independent Senator Sharon Keogan was recently re-elected to the Seanad on the Industrial and Commercial Panel.
Senator Keogan was a member of Meath County Council from 2014 to 2020 in the Laytown-Bettystown district before being elected to Seanad Éireann

A recent article published by Journalist Gavan Reilly linked her to a bid for the Áras in this year's Presidential Election.
However, speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, she has completely ruled this out.
