A memorial event for the late Jonathan 'Johnny' Treanor will take place on Easter Monday, at the Sliabh Beagh Hotel in Knockatallon. The late Jonathan Treanor lost his life back in 2022 following a fatal motorbike collision in Co Donegal. He was 28-years-old at the time of his death.
Monday’s event will celebrate the life of the young biker, and will feature the many things that he loved including bikes, cars, buggies and planes. All proceeds of the event are in aid of the Knockatallon Childcare Project, the Craig Breen Foundation and Road Victim Support NI. The event kick-starts with a bike run which will leave the Sliabh Beagh Hotel at 10am for a scenic run to Donegal to honour Jonathan’s final journey before his tragic death.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Josephine has encouraged people to join the Treanor family for this special day and to remember and celebrate the life of her son Jonathan who she says is “deeply missed” by people from near and afar. Josephine who says there is "no right or wrong way to grieve" has encouraged others who have lost of a loved one to "reach out" for help and to never grieve alone;
