Men across the region are being encouraged to reach out and talk to one another during November.
Movember is the leading charity urging people to take action this month, and open the conversation about mental health and physically checking yourself.
Martin Maguire from Monaghan was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and decided to join Crocus, where he found others he could talk to about what he was going through.

He says it allowed him to speak to people outside his family and helped with the mental struggles he faced due to the diagnoses.
Martin hopes that more young men will start to speak out if they are struggling and he had this advice for groups who want to get people talking:
