The Minister responsible for AI says X has broken the law by allowing degrading images of women and children to be created and distributed.
Niamh Smyth says she is certain the laws here are tough enough to penalise tech firms which permit nudified images.
She is also encouraging anyone impacted by the deepfake images on Grok or elsewhere, to contact Gardaí.
