Minor fire at Virginia takeaway prompts emergency response

Emergency services attended the scene of a fire in Virginia last night.

The blaze broke out at a takeaway restaurant on Main Street at around 11pm.

Gardaí, ambulance crews and three fire engines responded, with the fire brought under control shortly after.

No serious injuries have been reported.

Gardaí have described the fire as a minor incident.
