An American writer living in Monaghan, has described the friendship he had with Donald Trump.
Chaunce Heydon is an author, gossip columnist, and photographer, who moved to Monaghan after having a daughter in the county.
Mr. Heydon developed a friendship with the President of the United States when he was working as a gossip columnist in New York City.

He described how Trump would send him tips, and noted that Trump, loved being in the gossip pages.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Chaunce said he thinks Trump was shocked when he won the 2016 election.
