Bus Éireann has confirmed to Northern Sound that Monaghan bus station is back open seven days a week, from 9.00am to 7.00pm.
The statement added that "some on-site minor works will be ongoing at the station in the coming weeks".
These are believed to include works to the exterior walls and upgrading the adjacent toilet facilities.

Bus Eireann is also engaging with the previous operator of the on-site cafe, "with a view to reopening facilities for customers over the next short while".
Meanwhile, the Bus Eireann spokesperson said works are on-going in Cavan bus station in advance of the planned reopening of the station in July.
The announcement has been welcomed by local TD Niamh Smyth, as well as Monaghan Councillor Cathy Bennett.
