MediDrive, a leading US healthcare transport and logistics innovator has announced a strategic investment in Co Monaghan business SPRYT.
The local health-tech company is behind Asa, an award-winning AI receptionist platform improving patient access and attendance.
SPRYT is founded by local duo Neill Dunwoody and Daragh Donohoe.
The company has built one of the most compelling AI platforms in healthcare, redefining how patients connect with care.
SPRYT's platform currently supports more than 1.9 million patients and has earned top industry recognition, including Ireland's Overall National Enterprise Award 2025, HIMSS Pitchfest Winner, and UK MedTech Startup of the Year.
Neill Dunwoody said this partnership completes the last mile of patient access.
He said by combining their AI-powered engagement with MediDrive's transport capabilities, they are closing the gap between intention and attendance.
Mr Dunwoody told Northern Sound: "This is really exciting news for SPRYT this week. This is a game changer for how we think about healthcare. We're calling this the missing link in the patient journey.
"SPRYT has always been about using AI to make scheduling smarter, now by bringing MediDrive's logistics into the mix we're building the first company that can truly get you care and get you there. It means that booking your appointment and actually arriving at the clinic door will finally become one seamless, stress free experience not just here but on a global scale.
"The most exciting part for us is that this partnership opens the door to the US health system in a way that we could of only dreamed of previously. It's a massive leap forward for the company and for what we can achieve from right here in the region. This is just the beginning and we can't wait to show everyone what's next."
