Monaghan GAA has said that cash will be accepted at the turnstiles for championships games.
This comes following concerns that a number of county boards in the country are becoming cashless, which can exclude older GAA fans.
Micheal Mac Mathuna, of Monaghan GAA has clarified that tickets can be bought with cash at the gate, online or local Centra or Super valu Store. He noted that no one will be left standing outside any ground.
Cavan County Board has announced that all games will be ticket only, with no cash sales at the venue.
Tickets for all adult and underage matches must be purchased on the Cavan GAA app.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show, Camille Loftus, Head of Policy Age Action said she thinks Monaghan GAA is making the right move.
"I think that's really positive actually from Monaghan GAA and I think it would be great if other county boards around the country took a similar approach because we know that older people who are going to GAA matches are the same people who have been supporting the GAA all of their lives. We get quite a lot of calls from older people who are really really frustrated and annoyed about this issue and other aspects of digital exclusion."
