Monaghan gardaí are appealing for witnesses to report any suspicious activity following another theft of Eir cable.
The most recent theft occurred between 11 pm on Friday, the 26th of November, and 1 am on Saturday, the 27th of November in Killyneil, Tyholland.
There has been a spate of similar incidents in the county and gardaí are asking communities, particularly in rural areas, to be vigilant.

Gardaí say this type of crime has a huge impact on vulnerable communities who need to stay connected and have reminded the public that Eir employees do not work during the hours of darkness, except for emergency work.
