A Monaghan mother who hasn’t seen her two young children since they were abducted by their Egyptian father wants the Government to issue an Interpol notice to help find them.
Mandy Kelly, from Monaghan, was on holiday in Cairo in Egypt in 2022 when her husband locked her in an apartment and took her sons.
She has not seen her sons Zayn and Kareem since who are 4 and almost 6 years of age. Ms Kelly said the day before they were due to return home her husband had warned that he was keeping their two young sons, both born in Ireland,
Mandy says she will continue to apply pressure to the Irish Government to assist her with her sons safe return to Ireland. She believes her ex will stop at nothing to keep her children from her. The Monaghan mother told Northern Sound earlier today that she is worried for the welfare of her two boys that she last seen since on March 11th 2022
