Monaghan Community Special School is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year.
Under the patronage of Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB), the new school will provide a supportive and tailored educational experience for students aged 4 to 18 years old.
It will cater for children with autism and complex learning needs, as well as those with complex learning needs and a professional recommendation for special schooling. Parents and guardians can now download the Application Form from the CMETB website at www.cmetb.ie/mcss
Further documents available for download include, Admissions Policy, Admissions Notice, GDPR Compliance Note and Monaghan Community Special School Code of Behaviour 2025-2026 Completed applications will be accepted until the 31st of March at 2pm. Application Forms should be sent to Director of Schools, Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board, Market Street in Monaghan.
