Work undertaken by Uisce Éireann crews will bring the promise of a more reliable water supply by spring 2025. More than 700 metres of old cast iron water mains in Tully Estate will be replaced between now and the middle of the year.
Delivering the project for customers in Monaghan Town will bring better reliability of supply and improved water quality. It will also help the utility company achieve the 2030 goal of a national leakage rate of 25%.
Crews will be working in Tully Estate and on the junction of the R162 Glen Road. areas.

Traffic management will be in place and locals can be assured that access for local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.
