Over 3,000 tractors are currently registered in the Northern Sound region, according to figures contained in the latest release from the CSO.
According to the report, Cavan has the most amount of tractors on the road at 2,535 with 78 of those are general haulage.
Meanwhile in Monaghan, 1,560 agricultural tractors are registered with six of those as general haulage. Just two combine harvesters are registered across the region, 1 in Cavan and 1 in Monaghan.
