"More wheelchair accessible toilets are needed across Co Cavan." That's the view of local councillor, Philip Brady who raised a motion at the most recent meeting of Cavan County Council on the issue.
He called on the local authority to source buildings within towns and villages in the county for more wheelchair accessible toilets. Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Brady believes more toilets were needed in general to allow for more tourism in the county also. The Mullahoran man added that Cavan "prides itself" on being one of the most welcoming counties in Ireland and therefore more should be done to help support those living with a disability from Co Cavan and further afield:
