A motorbike has been detained by Gardaí as part of Operation Guide Cavan.
During a Roads Policing Unit operation on the N3 yesterday, gardaí made a number of detections for speed and using a mobile phone whilst driving.
Officers clocked speeds of between 132 and 146 km p/hr and issued fixed charge penalty notices to all drivers.

A motorcyclist stopped was found to be driving without insurance and subsequently had their motorbike detained by Gardaí with a summons to follow.
