A Co Cavan farmer says things are "going in the right direction" when it comes to the current protest being held at Bord Bia offices.
Richard Moeran who is a farmer from Mountnugent along with other farmers have been protesting in the building for more than three weeks.
Members of the IFA, and other farming organisations, are calling on the organisation's chairperson to step down, after it emerged Larry Murrin's company, Dawn Farm Foods, imported a small percentage of its beef from Brazil.
Mr Moeran says their demonstration is having an impact: "Things are going in the right direction, there's pretty serious dialogue going on in the background.
"Had we not of been here that dialogue would not have been taking place or certainly wouldn't be as advanced as it is now. The fact that we're here I think is really nudging things along."
Meanwhile, Bord Bia says ongoing protests at its offices in Dublin have impacted 140 staff, who've been forced to work from home.
The State agency says the 24-day protest is the "most significant breakdown in relations with a core stakeholder group" in its 30-year history.
