After a whopping €180k was raised last year, this year's Moylagh JFK 50 Mile Challenge annual walk/run is back.
And, with the ending of the Government restrictions the committee is happy that the Challenge will become a physical event in 2022 after two years virtually.
Mainly covering Cavan, Meath and Westmeath, people took part from all over Ireland in 2020 as well as from across the globe including a large event in Boston where over $50k was raised.
The total amount raised for cancer support in Ireland over the past 10 years as a direct result of the event is €977k.
Gerry McDonnell on behalf of the organisers said everyone is looking forward to June and are already gearing up for this year's Challenge.
