The St Patrick’s Day parade in Mullagh will now go ahead although organisers announcing last week that it was cancelled this year. The organising committee confirmed the parade would take place from 4pm on Monday the 17th of March in a social media post last night.
The Mullagh Tourism and Community Development Committee said they received overwhelming demand from the community and local businesses, and are delighted to bring back this year's parade.
The Facebook post said "Let's give it one hell of a try this year, you asked, we answered!!!"
