The N2 reopened last night following a two car collision closed the road for a number of hours in Carrickmacross.
The collision occurred after 7pm just after the the last junction for Carrickmacross, Ardee bound
Both male drivers and the sole occupants of their vehicles, aged in their 30s and 50s were removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda with non-life threatening injuries. The road reopened at 11pm and Gardai say investigations are ongoing at this time.
