A new, purpose-built online hub that brings trusted mental health information, services, and training opportunities together locally has been unveiled.
Community leaders, health professionals and service users gathered in The Peace Link, Clones, for the official launch of the Cavan Monaghan Connects initiative. The project was developed for the people of Cavan and Monaghan in response to the growing need for quality-assured and evidence-based information related to mental health and wellbeing. It has been established by HSE Connecting for Life Cavan Monaghan, in partnership with Mental Health Ireland, Cavan and Monaghan County Councils, and a broad network of local community & statutory organisations. All listings are vetted, up-to-date and tailored to Cavan and Monaghan, visitors can sort supports by county, age group, theme or delivery type in seconds. Service providers can submit events or training directly through the site, while a feedback form encourages ongoing community input and quality improvement.
Cavan Monaghan Connects is now live with new content being added weekly.
