St Dympna's National School in Tydavnet has been given the green light for a special classroom.
The government made announcement this afternoon along with 37 other special classes across the country under tranche 3.
Local senator Robbie Gallagher says the funding announcement from the Department of Education is a very welcome one.

He paid tribute to all at St Dympna's who made sure they got this across the line. Senator Gallagher says its great news for the rural North Monaghan School.
