A date has yet to be confirmed as to when a new MRI scanner for Monaghan Hospital will be in use.
The HSE confirmed last month that a new MRI scanner would be installed.
While welcoming the news, Deputy Cathy Bennett said it's important to put pressure on for a date to be set as the people of Monaghan "don't want to be fobbed off yet again."

As a result, Cathy Bennett is calling on Heath Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill and the HSE to confirm a date sooner rather than later.
Speaking to Northern Sound, the local TD said it's important now for other politicians in the area to put the pressure on to ensure that this service is put in place for the people of Co Monaghan:
