No one injured in Cavan robbery involving gun

Gardaí are investigating an attempted armed robbery in Cavan Town.

This robbery attempt, which involved a gun, occurred at a service station on the Dublin Road last Tuesday, 10th September. Local Gardaí say no injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing.

Meanwhile the Irish Independent have reported this attempted armed robbery was the second of the day following an earlier raid in Navan. In that case money was taken and one person was injured.
