The number of Covid patients in hospital has gone above 1,000, for the first time in three months.
Today's number is 1,055 - almost three times as high as a month ago.
Latest figures show there are 38 patients in intensive care with the virus.

Locally, there were 36 confirmed covid cases in Cavan General Hospital last night, two of whom are in ICU.
