A business is back up and running this morning after a suspected arson attack took place yesterday.
Extensive damage was caused to Donna McQuaid pharmacy in Oldcastle in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Tracey Holsgrove, secretary of the Oldcastle Community Development Association said there was a huge amount of upset in the town following the event.
She described how it's a small town and how Donna McQuaid is well-known and liked by everyone.
Every effort was made by the community to help Donna and she able to open her business this morning in a premises a few doors down from her own shop, which was being done up for a different type of business.
The owner of the premises reached out to Donna and offered it to her to use.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning, Tracey explained that it is open for business.
