The planned opening of the new Garda Station in Bailieboro has been delayed.
It was originally confirmed in recent months that the state of the art station would be completed and operational in April.
The office of public works have now confirmed to Northern Sound that the completion date will now be May.

They also added that the operational date will up to An Garda Síochána which is envisaged that may be a number of months after the completion date. Over 60 Gardaí and civilians will work from the building once fully operational.
