Over 100 people in the Cavan and Monaghan will become official Irish citizens in the coming days.
Applicants from over 130 countries will make a declaration of fidelity and loyalty to the State and become Irish citizens.
69 people residing in Cavan will receive Irish citizenship whilst 44 in Monaghan will do the same. 6 in Fermanagh are also set to receive their citizenship.

In total, over 5000 new Irish citizens are set to be conferred in six ceremonies today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday).
