Over 400 people in Cavan and Monaghan are among those caught in passport delays.
Figures from the Department of Foreign Affairs shows there's currently over 21,500 people around the country waiting to get a passport processed.
Cavan has the highest number locally at 306, with 215 in Monaghan.

Dublin has the largest waiting list, followed by Cork and Kildare.
