€2.23 million in funding is being made available to local schools to improve ventilation.
€1.23 million is headed to Co Cavan, and 1 million to Co Monaghan, as part of a nationwide spend of €62 million for the once-off Covid-19 minor works.
The minor works grant will see €45 million go to primary and special schools, and €17 million to post-primary schools.

It'll allow for improvements like the purchase of HEPA air filters.
