Over €35,000 allocated to refurbish playgrounds locally

Over €35,000 has been allocated for the refurbishment and construction of two playgrounds in Cavan and Monaghan.

€16,665 has been ring fenced to refurbish Belturbet Playground while Scotstown has been allocated €18,887 to build a new playground.

The Capital Funding was provided by the Minister for Children, Norma Foley.

Cavan-Monaghan TD Niamh Smyth has welcomed today's announcement.
