Over €38,000 has been secured for agricultural shows across Cavan and Monaghan.
The funding was announced by Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary.
In Co. Cavan, €19,905 has been earmarked for the Arva and Virginia agricultural shows which will be taking place this summer.
While in Co. Monaghan, €18,410 has been allocated for the shows in Castleblayney and Tydavnet shows in August.
The funding will support show committees as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Nationally, €1 million has been invested to support 123 agricultural shows right across the country.
