Over €90,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in the Ballybay area of Monaghan.
On Friday last week, Gardaí attached to the Monaghan Drugs Unit conducted a search under warrant at a residence in Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. During the course of the search, cannabis herb with an estimated value exceeding €90,000 was recovered A sum of cash and a number of electronic devices were also seized.
A man in his 30s was arrested in connection with the discovery, but he has since been released without charge pending further inquiries.

A file is being prepared for the DPP and investigations are ongoing.
