Planning granted to Virginia Rugby Club for training areas

Virginia Rugby Club has been granted permission to develop three, new juvenile rugby training areas.

Permission has also been granted for the erection of LED floodlighting.

The development will also include the replanting of native trees and plants to create biodiversity areas.

Cavan-based Green Plant, which aids farmers and landowners who wish to plant new forest, praised the rugby club's plans and its efforts to "not only maintain, but enhance biodiversity".
