Planning permission has been lodged for a new housing development in Carrickmacross.
Eakin Developments have applied to Monaghan County Council to construct a total of 25 dwellings on the Ardee Road, Carrickmacross. The development consists of 11 two bedroom apartments, 10 four bed semi detached houses, and four three bed semi-detached houses.
Bin storage, bike sheds, and boundary walls and fencing are also included in the application. A decision on the application is due in February
