Killinkere GAA Club has lodged an application for planning permission with Cavan County Council to develop an all-weather pitch at their grounds near Virginia. The club's application also includes plans to develop a training area adjoining the proposed pitch.
The Cavan club is also seeking permission to add high ball netting, new pitch fencing and a viewing stand. A decision from county planners is expected in the new year.
