Planning permission has been lodged for major works at a Cavan pub.
The application, lodged by Paul and Ross McCann, calls for the construction of a two storey pitched roof building at The New Inn pub, Ballyjamesduff.
The new building would contain 6 two person B&B rooms within the rear yard of the existing public house.
Included in the plans is a link between the new rooms and the pub, a new external door to Stradone Street to provide access to first floor accomodation.
Retention is also sought for permission to change the first floor accomodation into 4 B&B rooms.
A decision on the application is due in April.
