Planning permission is being sought for 18 three bed room properties on the Shercock road in Castleblayney.
The plans submitted by Berwat Construction LTD will see the proposed dwelling being built on a 0.8 hectare site which forms a part of the Castle Park housing estate.
If given the green light by Monaghan County Council, the development would consist of 18 no. 2 storey Townhouses comprising of 3 blocks of 4 and 2 blocks of 3 houses.

New road access from Mile Hill road, new roads, open space, landscaping and associated site works and connection to services are all a part of this housing application.
County planners will decide on the application by mid-August.
