Planning permission for 50 homes in Carrickmacross is is being sought for in recent days.
The purposed development will consist of the construction of 22no. 2 bed 2 storey semi-detached houses, 8no. 2 bed semi-detached bungalows houses and 10no. 3 bed 2 storey semi-detached houses.
If given the green light the mixed development would also include 8no. 4 bed 2 storey semi-detached houses and 2no. 5 bed 2 storey detached homes.

New vehicular entrance and all associated site development works are also being sought by Tullyagan Properties Ltd at the site which is located on Drumconrath Road in Carrickmacross.
Monaghan County Council will decide on this application by mid-November.
