A local non-profit organisation has been granted permission for a "material change of use" to develop a wellbeing community hub.
LA5-19 was founded by Barry Aughey and Deirdre Costello after the tragic loss of their son Luke, who died by suicide on 25th May, 2019.
It'll be located in a vacant property in Mullach Glass.

Works to convert it to a wellbeing community hub will include elevational changes to the front entrance at ground floor level, an extended canopy and additional floor area to accommodate a lift.
Permission has also been granted for the construction of an external escape stair to side of the existing building, and new signage.
