A County Monaghan Councillor has welcomed the plans to redevelop and regenerate the site of the former Castleblayney Fire Station.
Monaghan County Council along with a housing agency are looking at the derelict site and the surrounding area of the commons.
Cllr Aidan Campbell says its good news for Castleblayney that this site is being progressed by the council.
