Actor James Nesbitt has appealed for any information that can help the plight of the Families of the disappeared.
His appeal on Northern Sound today follows his emotional and impassioned plea on behalf of the families of the disappeared on the Late Late Show.
While he will be well known for his many television drama roles, his work behind the scenes supporting victims and survivors of the Troubles as a long time Patron of the WAVE Trauma Centre is a lesser known but important facet of his life.
He has been involved in lending his voice to the families of the so called disappeared since 200 and seeing closure for the families is particularly close to his heart.
He is keen to do everything he can to spread the appeal for information in relation to the outstanding cases within the remit of the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains. They are Joe Lynskey, Columba McVeigh, Robert Nairac and Seamus Maguire and the case of Lisa Dorrian who was Disappeared in 2005.
James recalls his visit to the search site of Bragan bog for Columba McVeigh.
Meanwhile. the well known actor made this appeal today.
