Members of the Cavan Community Engagement Unit are hosting a Property Marking Event today (Saturday the 3rd of June)
The event will take place at Crosserlough GAA Grounds.
Members of the public are asked to bring along any trailers, bicycles, lawnmowers etc to have them marked for free.

According to local Gardai, if valuables are stolen and recovered - it is much easier to find the rightful owner when they are marked.
It also makes your property less attractive to thieves in the first place.
