Gardai will hold a property marking event in Corduff on Sunday.
Members of the Carrickmacross Community Engagement Unit will be based at the Community Centre in Corduff between 11am and 1pm.
Marking property with an eircode can ensure that if an item is stolen and located Gardaí will be able to return it to it's owner.

Gardaí also plan to provide a sticker indicating that property has been marked, making property less attractive thieves.
