Cavan County Council is commencing the preparation of a feasibility study for a community, enterprise, and tourism hub in Belturbet. The study will also prepare a masterplan for the future development of the Belturbet Heritage Railway complex.
Cavan County Council is holding a public consultation evening on the plan in the Town Hall Civic Centre this evening from 8pm to 10pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
The purpose of the masterplan is to identify suitable locations for a proposed hub, as well as create a plan for the future of the Belturbet Heritage Railway complex. The local authority say the masterplan is at an early stage and engagement with the local community is very important.
