Vladimir Putin will not travel to Turkey for peace talks on the war in Ukraine, despite calls from Volodymir Zelenskyy for him to attend.
The Kremlin says their delegation in Istanbul will instead be headed by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky.
Ukraine's President had previously said he would attend talks and meet the Russian leader in person if he agreed.
Sky's International correspondence Dominic Waghorn said the move will be seen to reflect badly on the Russian leader.
