RAS Tailteann to pass through Cavan this afternoon

Gardaí in Cavan are advising of traffic delays that will occur due to the RÁS Tailteann.

Ireland's biggest cycling race will pass through County Cavan this afternoon.

The peloton are expected to arrive in Cavan from Oldcastle on the R154 at approximately 1:10pm.

It will pass through Mountnugent, Kilfassey, Kilnaleck, Ballinagh, Crossdoney, and onto Arva.

There will be a number of route diversions and rolling road closures.

There will be Gardaí and marshalls along the route, and Gardaí are asking motorists to adhere advice given.
